Competition!

This is a friendly, helpful and welcoming club solely aimed at showcasing all those fantastic panoramas dotted around deviantArt. Our aim is to get your panorama looked at by as many people as possible, and to get you, the panorama photographer, noticed.

It was co-founded by do7slash and Guymer after they found all the existing panorama clubs were dead and decided a new and much more exciting one was needed. Together, with our members, this will be one of the best clubs around.

If you have any panoramas and would like to submit them to the club gallery then please read the How to Join/Submit page. If you haven't created any panoramas, or don't know what one is, then check out the Panorama Tutorials and Software page. You can join the club even if you haven't got any panoramas to showcase. Whoever you are, we'd love for you to get involved with the club and make this a fantastic place to be.

Hello!

Right then, I am sorry for the lack of work done in the club for the past few days, it's been a bit hectic for the both of us this week. Fortunately I had today free(ish) so I've cleared the back-log of club submissions which means you should have more panoramas in your area.

Secondly, it means we can now concentrate on the competition. Hopefully you've all voted for the type of competition here --> panoramaclub.deviantart.com/jo… . The result is that our first competition will be on "Vertical Panoramas"! So, we want you to get cracking! All you have to do is send us a note with the subject "Competition" with a link to your vertical panorama. We'll do all the rest. As a poll can only have a maximum of 10 choices on dA then it means that if we get more than 10 submissions for the competition we'll have to do it in rounds with the winners from each round going head to head. Hopefully that'll happen because it'll mean we got loads of submissions!

So, get stitching those vertical panoramas!

The prize will be a large journal feature for the winner and we'll place their piece permanently in our Portfolio!
